How to see Waiheke in style

We went to an aquarium today and saw some penguins. My camera didn't work very well in low light so I'll have to steal somebody else's  pictures in the future. Really not too much else to say about Sunday. In bigger news I got all of Mary's pictures from Waiheke Island. As you will be able to see, it was much more enjoyable when not on a bike.

First, they stopped by the market for some shopping.

There, they found the finest foods from across the land
 Homemade jam, why not?
 Kayla found a little treat
And Cindy found bread that is as tall as her
Then they made their way to the vineyards
Mary decided to put some free advertising for Stonyridge Vineyard on the blog
They were really living the life
It's kind of a cross between California and Hawaii.
The girls were kept as far away from the weapons as possible. Only bad things can happen when archery and wine drinking mix
And here is the proof that Mary avoided the arrows
So to celebrate their survival, they had some locally brewed beer
Then, Mary got hungry so they went back and checked out the market again. This is what you call fresh produce. Somebody please take this and show Hen House so they quit advertising their stuff as fresh.
Of course, what great day isn't complete without a beach. The tide was pretty low at this point.
 Just enjoying the beach
Unfortunately, their day had to come to an end. This is the scene as you leave the island
 Getting further from the island
Just enjoying a nice L & P to take away the pain from the ride
They look happy to be on the ferry.
That was the end of the day on Waiheke Island. I think I like this version better than our version.
